Overview
It is the vision of Cedar Hill Neighborhood Services that every neighborhood be a Premier Neighborhood, with active and strong membership that encourages positive communication among neighbors and improves the quality of life for residents. The City Council continues to support programs that foster this vision and strengthen our community.

2023 will mark the 19th year that the Neighborhood Advisory Board will recognize neighborhood organizations in the City of Cedar Hill for their work towards improving the quality of life in their communities. These awards recognize neighborhoods for:
- Achievement in Communication
- Organizational Activities
- Membership
- Community Partnerships
- Leadership and Beautification

The Neighborhood Matching Grant Program is an initiative that provides matching funds for eligible neighborhood organization projects. Grant funding is available on an 80/20 match, up to $500 for community engagement project and $2,500 for a capital improvement project. Each application is reviewed by the Neighborhood Advisory Board and requires approval by the City Council.
The neighborhood organization must have a bank account and tax identification number to be awarded funds.
