Employee of the Quarter

Please congratulate Ashley Novian, for her selection as employee of the 4th quarter of fiscal year 2017 - 2018! Ashley has been with the City since April 2017 as a Police Officer.

Ashley is a great officer, but she is an even greater person. She displays true care and compassion for our residents. Any officer can say “I’ll see what I can do” about a situation, but Ashley follows through, taking every step possible to assist when there is a true need. Recently, she encountered a family that had no air conditioning in the heat of the summer. On top of that, a member of the family was facing a serious illness and the house they were living in did not have a working kitchen. Soon after this encounter, Ashley set her wheels in motion, contacting various resources to ensure this family would receive the assistance they needed. She coordinated with other City employees, local churches, social services and the Fire Department association. This is just one of many instances in which Ashley has gone above and beyond to help the citizens of Cedar Hill, far exceeding “The Cedar Hill Way.”

For these reasons, and so many more, we are proud to honor Ashley as the Employee of the 4th Quarter! Thank you, Ashley, for your service to the City of Cedar Hill!

Recognize an Employee

The City's Employee Recognition Program recognizes Cedar Hill employees (Service Stars) who “raise the bar” above and beyond the usual high performance standards. Any employee, citizen or city official may recognize another employee or group of employees for premier customer service delivery. Have you encountered a Cedar Hill employee who is a Service Star? If so, email us to tell us about it so that we may properly recognize them! Email HR to recognize a star employee!
