We offer a range of services and programs throughout the year for tweens ages 8 to 12. We connect youth with free resources such as library materials, creative programs, websites and databases. Through the power of information, imagination and ideas, the Zula B. Wylie Public Library strives to inspire the tweens of our community.
Wacky Experiments Camp
About the CampTweens, ages 8-12, join us at the library as we explore different science experiments each day. Space is limited.

Tween Graphic Novel Book Club
About the Tween Graphic Novel Book ClubThe tween book club, for ages 8-12, is a monthly book club that read fun and inclusive books that represent the diverse lived experiences of tweens in the community. About the Youth Tellers
The Youth Tellers is for youth, grades 3rd through 8th, to learn the art of storytelling. The Youth Tellers participate in national competitions, perform at city wide events, library events, and more.
Winter Meeting Dates
The Youth Tellers meet on the following Mondays from 5-6PM at the library.
Four Summer Reading lists are available for birth-preschool and grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8.
Provides engaging stories representing a variety of cultures and backgrounds. For birth-8th grade.
These three lists are offered in the ranges of kindergarten to 2nd grade, 3rd to 5th grade and 6th to 8th grade.
