Welcome to the Tween Services Page

We offer a range of services and programs throughout the year for tweens ages 8 to 12. We connect youth with free resources such as library materials, creative programs, websites and databases. Through the power of information, imagination and ideas, the Zula B. Wylie Public Library strives to inspire the tweens of our community.

Tween Graphic Novel Book Club

About the Tween Graphic Novel Book Club

The tween book club, for ages 8-12, is a monthly book club that read fun and inclusive books that represent the diverse lived experiences of tweens in the community. Book club meetings are a safe space to discuss the book, do fun activities, and connect with other tweens. Free copies of this month's book are available at the library on a first come first serve basis.

About the Book

To get in the spooky spirit we will be reading "The Okay Witch" by Emma Steinkellner. "Sabrina the Teenage Witch meets Roller Girl in this hilarious, one-of-a-kind graphic novel about a half-witch who has just discovered the truth about herself, her family, and her town and is doing her best to survive middle school now that she knows everything! Magic is harder than it looks." (Simon & Schuster)

October Meeting Date:
