[ARCHIVED] Parade of Joy at Uptown Village - 9 a.m. Dec. 6

The first annual Parade of Joy at Uptown Village is an instant community holiday tradition with over 40 groups represented in the event.
Of course Santa will be there, as will CHHS ROTC flag bearers, several schools of dance, marching bands and over 20 riders on horseback.
McGruff the Crime Dog will be there representing the CHPD; several Scout groups and the U.S. Army will be represented.
The Tri-City Animal Shelter will be there as well as the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).
This parade will be the debut of the newest fire engine in the CHFD fleet, and there will be classic cars.
And, of course, there will be city officials and special guests from the Best Southwest Chamber of Commerce.
