Ya Gotta Know the Territory!

That song from the Music Man provides good advice for genealogists. If you know what was happening in your ancestor’s time and place, you’re more likely to find him.

Barbara Wylie will walk us through a family’s story beginning with an indentured student in 1773 forward through our country’s history with eight generations, using different resources which will help us to Know the Territory.
