Speaker: Bernard Meisner
Applying Family Naming Conventions to Your Genealogical Research
Bernard Meisner will describe traditional child-naming conventions from various cultures and discuss how they can provide clues to potentially identify family members and even crack a brickwall or two!
Mr. Meisner has pursued his family history for 30 plus years and enjoys sharing lessons learned from those experiences, including the mistakes. He grew up in Pennsylvania, moved to north Texas in 1994 and has taught science in high schools and universities. In recent years, Bernard filled several officer positions with the Mid-Cities Genealogical Society.
